The Preventive Care DrPH admits one cohort each year. Applicants come from clinical practice, community health, nutrition, health education and ministry.

The Preventive Care DrPH Program trains professionals to develop interventions at the individual, group, and population levels for the prevention of chronic non-communicable and lifestyle-related diseases, incorporating evidence-based findings and the traditions associated with the Loma Linda Blue Zone.

The curriculum pairs intervention design with supervised applied practice in the surrounding communities of the Loma Linda Blue Zone.
